At the south end of Calico Square, this large establishment was designed by Paul von Klieben and opened on October 20, 1951. Pin #51 in the Knott's 100th Pin Series celebrates this park monument. So swing those doors open wide and pull up a chair, you won't want to miss this collector's item.

This pin is the envy of all of the other 99 pins in the Anniversary set and is the standard by which they all compare and aspire to attain someday. This pin scores high in every category in the known pin universe. The stiff, hard backing with its upward looking perspective of the front of the Saloon and the faded bar scene on the back are perfect! The heavy duty pin itself with its transparent Saloon doors swinging open to that colorful old west bar scene are outstanding! The creators of this pin could not possibly have come up with a better way to honor the most iconic, nostalgic and feel good building at Knotts. This pin is a serious contender for the #1 position of the entire pin set and most certainly will end up in the top five! This pin has a lot of in-person visual appeal and will probably sell out after Knott’s resumes normal operations after the shutdown is lifted. If you like this pin, I’d buy it now before the hoards of park attendees get a gander at it and snag it!!

Honestly surprised that the pin isn't more than $15 because it's so well done. The size of the pin is average but fabulously done.

I love the swinging doors with the see-through glass in them. This pin is intricately and beautifully designed. Just holding this pin in your hand and looking at all the intricate detail takes me right to the calico saloon in my mind. It’s a true work of art!
