Ghost Town's Bottle House debuted in 1944. Building materials were scarce in the Wild West, so bottles became bricks to build a home in the middle of the desert. “ROUNDING OUT A SIX PACK”!
A well-deserved and most welcomed architectural, historic and nostalgic addition to the 100th. anniversary pin club. This is the 6th. Ghost Town Building immortalized with its own pin and kudos to Knott’s for all six selections. Those six ORIGINAL Knott’s creations are critical parts of that unique and wondrous tapestry that weave together to form the much beloved Knott’s legacy. The pin itself is good sized, colorful and well conceived with the bottle house itself cleverly perched upon a horizontal bottle emblazoned with “Knott’s Berry Farm“. The inscriptions and logo on the back of the pin place it in the top 10 “best back of pin category“. The backing card is stiff, colorful and has a neat perspective - yet another example of how an artist can capture the visual essence of a subject matter. This pin ranks high in all pin categories and occupies an unimpeachable spot amongst its brethren in the 100 pin club - well positioned to tell of its contribution to the Knott’s story.
